Like Fish Out of Water: Perspectives for Couples
Coping with Cancer

Please join us on Thursday, October 30, 2008, at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel and Conference Center, for an evening focused on the needs of couples coping with cancer. Couples are invited to attend together, but we encourage individuals in committed relationships to attend alone, should both partners not be available to attend.

The evening begins at 6:00 pm and will include dinner, a movie and a discussion. The movie, "Like Fish out of Water" is revealing, funny and helpful, and will provoke a meaningful discussion, facilitated by Kathleen McBeth, MA, of the Cancer Patient Support Program at Fletcher Allen. Dave and Karen Crawford will also share their personal story. Karen was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004, and Dave has been a workshop leader helping men learn how to support their partners.
